Little rubber rings of Marvel characters sold for a nickel out of vending machines across the US in 1966. Gumball machines in a select few places were graced with the likes of Spider-man, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Daredevil. They came in clear little capsules, and in all different colors. The vending display card within the machine had Thor flying at you with 5 cents emblazened on his hammer. Wow! Mjolnir for a nickel!?!?
