Marvel breaks into the classroom in 1975. That year McGraw-Hill Films released a Spider-man Reading Motivation Kit only to school systems across the US. The kit included 1 poster, 6 filmstrips, 6 sound cassettes, 24 story cards, 7 comic-book readers, and a teacher’s guide ; in box, 43 x 29 x 8 cm. The episodes on the strip were Episode 1: Sting of the spider — Episode 2. Net City — Episode 3. Crackle and Snap — Episode 4. The Mob –Episode 5. Thunder Rumble — Episode 6. Lend me your ears.
Most times when this kit comes up for auction the poster is missing, and cards are incomplete. It’s definately a harder seventies item to acquire complete. Photos of box, and contents below.
